a decent stay.
period hotel great character beautiful room pigeon problem hairs problem tired decor
I really loved that the hotel had a great period hotel. it had so much character! the room was also beautiful and the restaurant, good. i found the location great. It was close to all i wanted to see.
I stayed in the rosemary room. i found a pigeon seemed to house itself in our porch way. I could hear it within the room. the room wasn't the cleanest. i saw a few hairs on the bathroom floor. i think there are a few bits and pieces for the decor that need a bit of attention.

amazing room fresh milk
Sam welcomed us. She looked after our bags when we arrived early. Ben later showed us our spacious, comfortable room. It had fresh milk for coffee in the morning.
I found staff gave different information contradicting each other. This was confusing.

superb location comfortable bed fluffy robes
The location was superb, putting me within easy reach of everything (i just love a short walk to attractions). i found the room to be very clean and the bed offered such comfort. i particularly valued the extra amenities. Fluffy robes are always a plus!
The shower's temperature fluctuated. It switched from hot to cold unexpectedly. this.

the character double room has high ceilings and ample storage. the ensuite bathroom features both a large bathtub and a separate shower, great. the decor was renovated recently and to a high standard.

the hotel offers a bar and restaurant, a comfortable space to unwind. luggage storage is available, even for early arrivals, and the staff transports it to the room (a very nice touch!). this made exploring the city easier.

breakfast was superb with attentive staff, ready to assist. i especially enjoyed the various hot options included in the price (such a treat!). the bar area serves excellent food as well.

The staff were friendly and helpful. Check-in and check-out were quick and easy! our room included a generous coffee and tea selection. the breakfast offered diverse and delicious options, i loved the relaxing atmosphere.
The elevator was not available. Carrying luggage up the stairs was a minor inconvenience though

The building is very central. City attractions are easily accessible within walking distance. it is close to various amenities, including shops and restaurants. i enjoyed the flat walk from the train station.

mixed feelings about the stay.
bathroom hairs tired bottles
the breakfast had plenty of options.
The room was not the cleanest. There were hairs on the bathroom floor. some decor needed attention. the bottles for the toiletries were refilled with white company products, though the bottles looked tired and were only half full on arrival.

Wonderful stay at a charming inn!
lavazza machine warm welcome cosy feeling required features
I loved the included lavazza machine in the room. It was so nice to have fresh coffee available. The welcome was warm and personable. I thought the street view from my room gave a very cosy winter feeling. All required features were available.
There was no lift, carrying luggage up the stairs was difficult

The staff were friendly and helpful, they ensured I had what i needed. Extra milk arrived promptly for the morning upon request. The team restocked everything before my second night. All staff displayed great professionalism.

The room included dressing gowns, slippers, and soft towels. There was also a tassimo coffee machine and tea options available. The hotel also offered luggage storage for early arrivals with transport to the room. The bathroom had high-standard toiletries.

The inn was in a perfect location for my plans. It was near the train museum. It had very central access. The hotel has great transport connections to other cities.
